The form of this residential project for eight dwellings arose from the requirement to create privacy between adjacent villas while fulfilling the client’s brief to maximise the site’s development potential. A diamond grid was invented, creating regularity while allowing adjacent units to develop unique organisations and aspects. The massing closely follows the landscape, rising and falling from east to west and north to south, resulting in steps and terraces introducing light, balconies and private viewing lines.
