If you are passionate about generating positive social and environmental impacts, we’re a great match.
TANDEM Design Studio is a boutique and award-winning architectural studio located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD on Lt. Lonsdale Street. We have played a vital role in high-profile projects like Melbourne’s Federation Square and Hobart’s Museum of Old and New Art (MONA). Equally, we’re currently working on cutting-edge projects in the education, build-to-rent, social housing and commercial sectors.
We have also designed private residences that respond to the particulars of clients’ sites and push sustainability and re-use of existing fabric – these projects are our testing grounds for new ideas and architectural approaches. We believe in cross-pollination across projects and sectors and have a commitment to finding better ways to construct houses.
As a practice we love research, making social initiatives and bringing community engagement into our projects. We bring an open mind and unpretentious attitude to design. Our appetite to learn new and better ways of practising Architecture for the betterment of clients and communities is insatiable.
A pivotal role exists for an Architectural Graduate or Architect within our studio to Lead our residential and small projects team.
